Best birthday present ever! I got to take a knife making class with Jordan who is a Forged and Fire champion! He was super patient and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this class whether you're interested in blacksmithing or just looking for something fun and new to do. I was also surprised at how easy it was to mold the knife aka, you don't need to be jacked to do this.

Booked the horseshoe knife class for my son and two of his friends as a birthday present, and it was an amazing experience! All 3 boys are the same age (11) and began with an eagerness to learn and engage but apprehensive about the actual class and working with the hot tools/fire ect. Within a few minutes the boys seemed at ease, the instructor was engaging them and explaining things very well and helping them feel comfortable and confident! They ended the class eager and excited for more! We will definitely look forward to more classes!

I was blown away by how welcoming the space was and how immaculate the shop was. We made a few hooks and then made a knife out of a horseshoe. It was an experience we won't soon forget. I took the Intro to Blacksmithing class here and thought it was an awesome time! I was curious about the techniques and tools and was hoping to get a hands-on experience. The class completely fit the bill. Jordan was a great instructor, offering lots of tips and insights, and answering all the questions we bombarded him with. I came away with a couple of self-made hooks, a self-made horseshoe knife, and a new-found appreciation for the art. There was a younger child in the class, and Jordan's techniques allowed him to completely participate and even end up with a knife that was better than mine! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the shop and class to anyone interested in the art, and if you have kids, this is a wonderful way to get them a one-of-a-kind experience. I thought this class was a great value for the money, and I am already looking at additional classes to take!
