Went this weekend for the railroad spike knife class and can't recommend it enough! Jordan and his wife are AWESOME and Jordan is a hell of a teacher! Their dog is pretty awesome too! The class was about 2.5hrs, and I was more than happy with my final product. Pro-tip: Bring Jordan a Sharpie, he'll appreciate it.

Had a great time making a spike knife with my son. Patient and knowledgeable instruction with a lot of good conversation. Highly recommend the class. I was brand new to the forge and left with some good starting knowledge and a cool knife

Purchased a Railroad Spike Knife class for my 10 yr old. Rachel greeted us as we walked in and Jordan came out to meet everyone and then we jumped right into the class with everyone. Instructions were clear and detailed. Letting amateurs participate and use equipment is risky but the safety measures and detailed instructions provided here are plentiful. My son had a great time and is already begging to go once a month. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks Night Owl Ironworks for making his birthday a success!
