If you're interested in forging, want to try something new and rewarding or simply enjoy doing something creative with your hands, I highly recommend taking a class (or a few) here. I went with my husband for a rail knife class and had such a fun time! Jordan and Rachel went above and beyond to welcome people, offer guidance and create a community within the class. The excitement Jordan has about his craft was infectious, which was not only a joy to watch but fostered a mutual excitement for the process. It was fascinating to learn some foundational forging skills and we really appreciated the intimate setting. My husband has been thoroughly enjoying the knife he made! My daughter and I have taken the railroad spike knife class and tomahawk class. We both have had a great time in both classes! Jordan is an excellent instructor. I plan to take all the other classes he offers. If you think bladesmithing is something you might enjoy I highly recommend Night Owl. It is even more fun than I thought it would be. The family and I had a great time learning to forge our first knife with Jordan. We enjoyed the entire experience and learned a lot while taking railroad spikes and making our knives. I highly recommend you take one of the classes with Jordan as he is a great teacher and very knowledgeable.
